Beijing Airport pt. 2 & Arrival in Hong Kong & First Day

Hi again

Okay, this is going to be a very long post. Have to cover a lot of stuff plus there are a few pics. There will be a page break in this post. So please be aware of that. Sorry I couldn't post earlier I have been to tired to post. Also sorry for my extremely bad grammar.
View outside Beijing Airport

First let's start with Beijing Airport. After my post ended earlier we went around looking a place to eat. The place that we wanted to eat had just ended something that my parents wanted to eat so we did not eat there. Instead we just got a sandwich for me and sort of curry dish for dad since mom and Simon ate earlier. We found a place to eat next to a working power station. There were really interesting vending machine in the airport and I got a drink from it. We went down to our gate after a while. We sat there for an hour before boarding the plane.

Vending Machines
Pear Drink
Tangle of Cords

In the airplane, I got a allergic reaction to some peanuts in the food during the flight. For those who don't know I have a high allergy to any sort of peanuts and it could potentially send me to the hospital if i don't take a allergy medicine. I survived and am doing well right now.

In Beijing Airport

HIYA!!!
KINDLE_CAMERA_1378399505000.jpg
Strawberry Soy Milk! MINE!

FINALLY I CAN BLOG!!!! Sorry for not posting just before the flight. I was too tired and getting onto the plane was a little crazy. Our flight was actually 13 hours not 18. it is over 18 hours including the time on the next flight. For anyone who would like to know the plane was a B777 and both flights are with Air China.

Currently waiting during our seven hour layover...nothing much to do. It has been a chore to fine anything working well in the airport. The internet is pretty bad in some of the airport and many of the power plugs don't work. Dad just got back after finding a few more that worked. On top of that in China apparently "Blogger" which is the site i use to blog is blocked in China. I am pretty luck that my dad found another way to get me into blogger or else there would not be a update until I arrived a Hong Kong.

Flight was fun. I slept through most of it. Finally got top watch Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I also watch NCIS. I watch a bunch of other stuff too. My sickness didn't really affect me to much on the flight which i think is rather amazing. I am still slightly sick and it comes and goes.

Had a rather interesting incident at the screenings. Twice we got stopped for something we had in our bags. It was the same thing each time that cause us to get recheck. You know what it was???? COFFEE!!!! Really funny. Apparently the senors thought that the coffee was something dangerous. The first time we got stopped because of the coffee the guard could not open the bag because the bag it was in was tied with a rather complicated not. The guard kinda gave up and my dad said just to ripe it open. The second time the guard just looked at it and put it back into the bags.

Going to have to be going for now. (YES I KNOW, bad grammer)

Well SEEYA!

In the airport

Hi

Still learning how to use this kindle for blogging. Inside the airport. Time is now 11:37pm. Yes I am still awake. Flight leaving at 1:40am tomorrow which is about two and more hours away. Had a lot of luggage. I got through the check in without coughing once. Still continue praying that I get better soon because I don't really want to be sick for an eighteen hour flight.

Seven of the thirteen bags that are comin!!!
Going to have a seven hour layover in Beijing China.  Taking Air China..... from Beijing going to Hong Kong. First flight is probably going to be over eighteen hour flight. Then the seven hour layover in Beijing. Then another five hour flight to Hong Kong. Going to be fun. Hoping to post just before I bored the plane and once I arrive at Beijing. No promises because It really depends if I remember.

Book Opening

Hi, Posting the first couple paragraphs of the draft of a prologue of a book I am writing. Please given comments and tell me if you want more.

Prologue
                In the dark alleyway, two teenagers walked side by side away from the busy street and into a dark alleyway. Their features were shadowed by the light behind them. On the opposite end of the alley, another teenager barely a few years approached them. This older teen had light brown hair and had a black cap that was pulled down low to cover his eyes. Both of his hands were tucked deep in the pockets of his black leather jacket. Around his neck hung a leather cord with a bronze charm in the shape of a hawk that gleamed dully. They all stopped in the middle and turned so that their backs faced opposite walls. The light now shone on the younger teens revealing a girl with semi-long black hair and a boy with slightly long, white-blonde hair. The older boy pushed back his hat to reveal his dark green eyes.

Creative Writing: Tale of Pirates and Others

Another one of my blog post of the MV Teen Voice. This was published August 26, 2013. Original Location: http://mvlteenvoice.com/2013/08/26/story-poem-one-tale-of-pirates-and-others/
One Tale of Pirates and Others
The cold wind blew as the stars came out;
The blue shining waves tossed about.
The full moon glowed as many clouds went past;
The moon’s light went up a tall ship’s mast.
On the ship’s mast flew Davey Jones’s banner;
The ship’s side had the name Pirate Manor.
Onto the ship deck, rum boxes were had;
Soon the entire ship’s crew became drunk and mad.
The captain ordered the bobbing ship to land,
While the men held rum in their hand.
The ship stopped at an empty, deserted beach;
Pirates clambered off and for another bottle they reached.
